Spring is almost here, and our crop season will be in full motion before we know it! We want to make sure you have everything you need to make your operation a success! Here are some things to expect this coming season when partnered with Service & Supply Cooperative.
Seed
The most important thing to have a prosperous crop, or even a crop at all, is to have seeds to plant. We have a vast variety of seeds from Asgrow, Credenz, DeKalb, NK, and many more. With the season approaching fast, head in and talk to our seed salesmen to get yours ordered today! Our knowledgeable salesmen will be able to talk you through the seed options that work best for you and your operation. With the addition of Enlist E3 beans to our range of soybean seed options, we are sure to have just what you are looking for. Along with that, it is very important to let us know what traits you are planting so we can come up with the correct herbicide treatment and apply the right chemical to your fields. We know there can sometimes be confusion when talking about Xtend beans and Enlist beans, so double check to make sure that both you and your applicator know exactly what is in each field.
Anhydrous & Fertilizer
Service & Supply has you covered for all your anhydrous and fertilizer needs this spring! If you plan on applying anhydrous ahead of your corn, Service & Supply is stocked up and ready for the application season to begin. Truckloads of fertilizer have been rolling in and we have exactly what your crops need. Give us a call to start working on your farm’s nutrient plan created specifically for you and your farm’s needs. Have soil samples or in need of your fields being soil sampled? We have you covered. By taking soil sample data, we can create maps and apply fertilizer using variable rate in your fields to get nutrients where they are needed. Want to get more accurate nutrient management maps? Bring in your yield data and we can add that to soil sample maps to find where nutrients were used most and what nutrients those fields need. We have been busy this winter making sure our equipment is in tip-top shape and ready to roll when the weather allows. We have our fingers crossed that we will have drier weather in the coming months to get our wheels rolling ad spreading fertilizer.
Wheat
Have a wheat crop growing in your fields? We are just about at the perfect time for that first round of fertilizer. The first round of Nitrogen in the sppring drives upward growth and tillering, which leads to an increasing yield in the end. Call in today to talk to our fertilizer guys and get on the list. Have any questions about your wheat? Give us a call and we can get a man on the field to check on your concerns.
Let us know what we can help you with this spring and throughout your whole crop season!
